Vishing, Don't Fall Prey.
Vishing is yet another way criminals try to gain access to your personal information. Using Voice over IP technology through the Internet, criminals can fool your Caller ID by setting up fake phone numbers. They can also set up phony customer service numbers for you to call them back.
The only way to combat these attackers is to know who you are calling back. Verify the number with trusted sources such as a customer service number on the back of a credit card or from statements or bills. If the number does not match do NOT call it. Contact your financial institutions using only the verified numbers.
